If you've ever opened your refrigerator to find that your food is warmer than usual, you're probably in need of a refrigerator repair. Refrigerators are continuously running to keep food and beverages at a cooler temperature. When this interior temperature drops, it can lead to improper storage of your food and result in damaged food items that otherwise need to be chilled to stay fresh. Our refrigerator repairs are designed to give you reliable solutions so you aren't stuck having to pay for repairs and replacing all of your food simultaneously.
Refrigerator Leak Repair
When your refrigerator begins to leak, it can be a sign that it is not defrosting efficiently because the pipe or drain is clogged with, well, ice. Either that or your system is plugged with food bits and particles that have become lodged in the pipe or drain. When this happens and the pipes or drains are clogged, it can lead to further ice buildup, failure to cool the rest of your fridge, and eventual water leaking from within your fridge or underneath it. If you have a refrigerator and freezer combo, it can sometimes leak from beneath your freezer, leading you to believe it’s a freezer problem, when in reality, the system is blocked and cannot defrost safely.
Refrigerator Not Cooling
Another problem linked to a blocked defrost drain is that your refrigerator is not cooling properly. You might open up your fridge and notice that the food seems warmer than usual but the temperature on your fridge’s door reads at what it is usually set. When this happens, it typically means that your fridge is continuing to try and cool at the normal temperature, but it is failing to do so because the defrost drain is clogged or iced over. To reduce this problem, we’ll have to defrost the ice buildup before further cleaning the drain and pipes.
Refrigerator Motor Repair
Refrigerator motor repairs can also lead to your refrigerator not adequately cooling or providing the food freshening properties otherwise needed from a fridge. When your motor is malfunctioning, you’ll often hear a crackling or fanning noise coming from the inside of your fridge whenever you open it. This could mean that there are particles stuck in or near the motor fan, ice is blocking it from running efficiently, or the motor itself is dying out. We only replace motors with equivalent makes and models to ensure optimal efficiency and functionality.
Along with high-quality refrigerator repairs, we also offer freezer repairs. Most modern refrigerators come with freezer combos that are designed to operate together for your convenience. If your freezer begins to leak or you notice that it is not freezing items as it should, it could be cause for concern and time for a repair. Freezer repairs usually revolve around over-freezing within the freezer, causing blockage of important pipes and fans, or failing to freeze, which could mean loose pipes and further leaks and defrosting within the freezer.
